Suede Items Under $100

Happy Labor Day! To be completely honest, this weekend seemed like a fitting last hurrah of summer — temperatures in San Francisco broke an all-time heat wave record with TRIPLE DIGIT temperatures. Our all-time high was 106°F! Trying to beat the heat was near impossible, but I went shopping with Jacqueline on Saturday, went to church in the city with Alexandra yesterday, and am heading back for yet another city excursion today!! It’s best to take advantage of this sweet spot of the semester (without the pressure of papers or midterms). While out and out, Jacqueline and I chatted about our favorite fall fabrics  — satin, suede, velvet, corduroy! We both had a hard time picking a favorite, but for me, suede won by a teensy little bit. I love soft it is! So, I did a little looking and found some favorites I’m coveting that are under $100.

AQUA Faux Suede Navy Scalloped Top ($68)

Navy is gorgeous during the fall, and of course, my love of scallops is still alive and strong. 😉 Though the top is darling in the two-piece outfit, I think it would also look elegant with a cognac suede skirt or jeans.

boohoo Nancy Ruffle Side Olive Faux Suede Shorts ($18)

Sometimes, there are those fall days that are a little warmer than expected — especially right now, as September is kind of an in-between month. When that happens, these suede shorts would be perfect!! I would pair them with a striped 3/4 sleeve top and oxfords.

Cynthia Steffe Magenta Faux-Suede Dress ($48)

Isn’t the color on this dress beautiful? If you’re craving something a little brighter for autumn, this dress would be lovely. The neckline is beautiful, and it’d be perfect for a crisp fall night out.

Vince Camuto Pink Elroy Penny Loafer ($100)

Penny loafers are coming back in all kinds of style, and this pair is particularly slimming and chic. I love the mauve color as well! You could pair these with jeans, pants, a suede or corduroy skirt, or a casual dress!

Gap Ankle Strap Suede Sandal ($40)

These shoes are the cutest little things! I have been a bit obsessed with the block heel trend — they have such a dainty, feminine grace to them. And I love that these are a little flatter, as they’re practical too!

Dune Embroidered Blush Loafers ($93)

I had to include another pair of loafers on here, because at the moment, every store I walk into, my eyes are involuntarily drawn to the loafer and mule section. The embroidery on this pair (not to mention the blush color — I mean, come on!) is stunning. These are a statement shoe, and picture-perfect at that.

Calvin Klein Latte Pleated Suede Culotte ($76)

Culottes are something on my wish list, and in suede?! I’m in love. These are clean-cut, a polished addition to any professional ensemble or savvy look. Plus, these are on sale right now and at less than $80, they are a true staple investment.

H&M Suede Shoulder Bag ($60)

Between the rich mauve color and the stitching and buckle intricacies, this bag is the definition of fall. It’s earthy tone is something that will match with olives, cognacs, creams, oranges, and reds. Essentially, consider it a bag you can wear with everything, all season long.

BB Dakota Faux Suede Cognac Coat ($50)

I love the look of suede coats and dusters — though sometimes, I have to be a little careful to ensure the fabric doesn’t overwhelm my petite figure. This coat doesn’t look too long, plus it has the belt for added definition. It’s simple, sleek, and versatile.
