Today I am happy to present a second round of gift guides! This time For Her. Find my For Him guide here. Currently, I’ve been in the thick of studying for finals. If you are in the same boat, good luck! It’s my least favorite time of year just because of the long to-do lists and added stress, but only 8 days until I go home for break, so we are in the home stretch! In the meantime, my study breaks have consisted of finding good Christmas gift ideas, so I hope you enjoy!
For the girl with a sweet tooth, Sugarfina is where it’s at. I put a little something from them on almost every gift guide, because I do think they go the extra mile when it comes to refined candy. I love these champagne bubbles ones — not only is the design innovative (they look like actually bubbles!), but the gummy is like tasting the stars. 🙂
Hats definitely make for great Secret Santa gifts. I put two varieties here. The first is a pink beret, a fitting selection if your friend is ultra-feminine, stylish, and unafraid to be bold. The second is pom hat, which would make a great choice for a fun-loving, always-up-for-an-adventure friend!
I’ve seen the large whale pillows and think if you’ve got a friend who is a Vineyard Vines fan (I personally am), they make for a fun throw pillow. This year they debuted a mini, and I just think it’s the most precious thing! Who wouldn’t love a little pink well on their bed?
Chloé has become my “signature scent.” I love how floral and feminine it is, and if you have a friend who loves it too, this duo is amazing! I own the set and love, love, love. You receive two bottles: one classic Chloé and one Chloé Fleur de Parfum. Both are sophisticated scents, and also how pretty is the box? I have mine on display!
I want this one haha! (Although realistically, I love/wish I could have every item on this list.) But truly, this glasses case — great for prescription or sunnies — is so cute! There are five varieties themed around different cities: New York (my favorite, obviously), Paris, London, L.A., and Miami. If you have a friend/girlfriend/wife/sister/mom who loves cities, I don’t think you could to better!
I always love giving books for the holidays, and this one has been topping best-seller lists. It’s about a young girl who travels to Brooklyn, NY in search for information about her father. Her coming-of-age story takes place from the Great Depression into WWII and follows her relationship to the seaports around New York. Sounds equally beautiful and nostalgic!
Having a case to pack jewelry in for travel is the best way to keep it safe. I love the pink coloring and dainty design on this one — and such a good size! Definitely a gift your person probably won’t already have, but will appreciate time and time again.
I love how chic (hehe, I had to) this little compact is! Seriously though, you can never go wrong with a nice mirror. I personally own one from Kate Spade and love how it transitions well from my leisure purse to my professional bag. Plus, this one is sleek, simple, and sure to please!
We take our holiday cheeseboards very seriously. And honestly, nothing says savvy entertainer like a well-crafted cheese board. See this Pinterest pin or this one for inspiration. Having a nice cutting board won’t be taken for granted after seeing the display of different cheeses, dried and fresh fruits, nuts, honey and jam, crackers, etc. at your special someone’s next party!
I absolutely love Fresh’s Sugar lip products. They’re extremely moisturizing, and the tinted ones offer nice even colors. Plus, each Fresh product retails for just under $25, so this set is a steal! Besides receiving a lip exfoliant, you get a balm, and my personal favorite — the tinted lip treatment in rose!
Liberty London has done the best collaborations: J.Crew, Meri Meri, S’well, Nike, only to name a few. They’ve added an Anthropologie home goods collection that is impeccable. I remember one time my mom went to a Secret Santa party and received a floral yellow fruit colander and pretty ceramic measuring spoons. We’ve used these two items for years! My point? Fun designed home items someone can use daily make perfect gifts!
I mentioned in Monday’s post that are so many cute wrapping supplies out this year, and I wanted to do a small feature here at the end of some of my favorites. I love every aspect of gift-giving, from selecting the gift I know will touch the person to whom I’m giving, to picking out the wrapping paper and tags, to adding final touches like pieces of pine or a bright red bow. One of my favorite companies to get gift items from is Rifle Paper Co. (you can see many of their items below!). If you head on over to their website, you can get 15% off with YC15-SANTA from today until Wednesday, December 6.
