Pop-Up Shop

Happy Black Friday! I’m hoping everyone had a wonderful holiday. My family celebrated my grandfather’s 20th anniversary of passing, which coincidentally fell on November 24th this year too. Naturally, I’m still suffering from a food coma, because I ate sooooo much. No regrets though. It was fantastic.

Another fun note! Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life is premiering!!! Gilmore Girls has always been one of my favorites. I know I’ve had (and still have!) those “I want to be Rory Gilmore” moments. The show is just so quick, and I celebrated like no other when I heard the revival was a real thing. Now, I could wait to wake up to the 4 episodes sitting quaintly in my Netflix queue, but…I’m just not that patient. 😉 I’ll be staying up until midnight to watch it, so by the time you read this, I’ll have started Episode 1!! Also, absolutely no spoilers with this one — I took that #FourWordsPledge. Oy, with the poodles already!

Now, onto something I’m super excited to share — my holiday pop-up shop! I’ve always loved typography, and about a year ago, I started it as a hobby. I love sketching doodles and cards to hang up and give to people, and one of the items I’ve gotten the most feedback about from friends and family were my holiday gift tags.

So! I sketched out a few styles and decided, why not add a store feature to Young Cosmopolite to sell them this season? There are 4 styles up now, and each pack comes with 10 tags. A set of gift tags costs $4.95 (plus $1.95 shipping). In the coming weeks, I’ll be adding holiday cards and table place cards.

To purchase, head to the top and click “Shop” — the holiday tags are the first four options!! I hope you all like them. And good luck at all the sales today! I’ll be stopping by Anthropologie (they always have such a fun surprise on Black Friday!), Nordstrom, Sephora, H&M, and Barnes & Noble in hopes of finding something special!

Have a style of holiday gift tags you want to see? Comment below! I’m hoping to add 2 more styles before the season ends, so I’d love ideas!
