Mother’s Day is coming up, so I thought it’d be fun to put together a small gift guide of some items to purchase to recognize the special woman in your life! Personally, I love doing experiences with my mom. Last year we attended a macaron baking class (there’s a picture of us below!). She’ll just have to wait and see what’s up my sleeve this year. 😉 Cooking classes, art classes, going out to brunch, seeing a local play, going to the ballet, attending a concert, packing a picnic, planning a hike — all of these are wonderful ways to treat your mom to something special! I recommend checking Groupon for deals on local events and classes. If you want to go traditional or supplement what your experience with a small purchase, I’ve listed some things below! J.Crew, Vineyard Vines, Lilly Pulitzer, KJP, Kendra Scott, and Anthropologie all have a lot of gorgeous items out for Mother’s Day, so take a look there too.
Farmgirl Flowers Bouquet ($48+)
Flowers are always an appreciated gift, and Farmgirl does it perfectly! Wrapped in burlap, always fresh bouquets, Farmgirl does flowers to the nines and will be sure to provide a bunch your mom will love!
There’s nothing like wrapping yourself in a quilted robe after a nice shower — it’s a luxury not to be glossed over. I love the white accenting on this navy one!
With summer coming up, baseball hats are the perfect lazy day accessory. I love this pink one from Vineyard Vines — it’s one of those hats that just makes you smile! Your mom will look great it in for sure.
Having too many cosmetic bags simply isn’t a thing — you can always find a new use for one! This one from Kate Spade is a great size, and I especially love the light blue color.
Mark and Graham Travel Jewelry Case ($69 with monogram)
Jewelry cases for travel are such an underestimated need! This is something your mom will thank you for each time she pulls out untarnished, unscratched pieces when she jets off somewhere fun.
I love this two piece set from Dogeared — one necklace for your mom, and one matching necklace for you. I think this is such a special gift, and the pearl necklaces are beautiful!
Wrapped up cords are the worst, and this classic monogrammed leather case keeps everything impeccably neat and tidy. Chic a la tech!
I love P.J. Salvage’s pajamas — they’re always so soft and comfortable. Nice pajamas are a real treat, and these look so perfect for summer!
For Mother’s Day, KJP is offering a beautiful special where every monogram order can be engraved with mom’s initial on the front and each child’s initial with a heart on the back! I love the subtle touches, and KJP’s products are gorgeous, American-made, and amazing quality.
Kendra Scott has a bunch of amazing pieces, and these earrings are absolutely stunning! I love the rose gold and shiny drusy, but if earrings aren’t your mom’s favorite, check out the other items on Kendra Scott’s site, and you’ll surely find something she’ll love.
Stationary is such a sweet and thoughtful gift, and something you can personalize. It’s especially affordable too — and added bonus!
