My weekend has been a rush — quite literally. I’ve been in the middle of sorority recruitment and truly have not stopped to take a breath. I’m sleep deprived, coming down with a cold, and fully exhausted — but it will be so worth it when we welcome our new pledge class. I thought it would be fun to pick out some fall outfits for the girl on a budget. I personally am trying to watch what I spend and figured I could set a max of $60 for each. Keep in mind, this includes an outfit, shoes, and an accessory. Also! A quick disclaimer, a few of these items are going to be from the website SheIn. I’ve had a pretty good experience with SheIn — the items come as they appear on the sight and are of decent quality. I recommend sizing up as most of their items run small, and pay for expedited shipping as well! Hope you enjoy!
For Morning Brunch
I’m a sucker for a nice cozy brunch. Last year, I remember one of my favorite restaurants in Berkeley was serving a fall omelet with roasted walnuts, squash, spinach, goat cheese and figs. Paired with a cinnamon muffin with cream cheese, the duo was heavenly. I’m keeping my fingers crossed they’ll put it back on the menu this year! Bunch is such a flirty meal, and I’ve found the perfect flouncy dress and blush heels for the occasion.
For a Day in the City
The one thing I cannot wait to do this fall is head to San Francisco. I’ve been itching to visit the city since I’ve been back, but I simply haven’t had the chance. Strolling down avenues and streets, taking in the sights, is where I’m happiest. I really am a city girl. Going to museums is something on my list for sure, and when out and about, I love an outfit that’s weather flexible and comfy. Do you spot the elbow patches on this striped tank?! I am in love.
For Heading to Class
The most lovely thing about shirt dresses is how easy they are to put on (and how comfortable). They look clean, tailored, and professional and are the perfect thing for a day in class. I love oxfords too — easy to get around on campus. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed strolling through Berkeley over the last week and slowly starting to sneak little peeks of changes in the leaves!
For a Night Out
Rose is in this season, and such a romantic color perfect for a night out. I am so in love with the bow on this sweet skirt, and I know it’d be wonderful for a date night. I personally am looking forward to cool fall nights and cozy evenings. Plus, fall textures like suedes, satins, velvets, and corduroys are always the most fun (and fashionable) to wear.
